Trump’s former personal lawyer who now leads the Justice Department granted Trump, his family, & his businesses, retroactive immunity from any & all prosecution related to ongoing tax investigations. @democrats-appropriations.house.gov will demand answers. Watch here: youtu.be/rt_bIvnvq3o
I'm glad Dulce is free, but she never should have been detained in the first place. ICE needs an overhaul immediately— and I will not vote for another dime of funding for the agency until we see serious reforms.
ICE arrested and detained Dulce Consuelo Diaz Morales for 25 days even after she provided her birth certificate as proof of her citizenship. After her release, Diaz Morales shared, "I thank God now it’s over. I want to hug my son first and then my family."
Families are struggling with the rising cost of gas, groceries, & everyday necessities. Instead of addressing this crisis, Trump started a war with Iran that has made everything more expensive. Sec Rubio is testifying before @democrats-appropriations.house.gov Watch here: youtu.be/CZaqbwuH5cc
As hardworking families struggle to afford groceries and gas, Trump is fixated on his $1 billion ballroom. Americans deal with high prices while the President is busy with vanity projects.
Israel's attacks against Lebanon are disrupting talks to end the war with Iran and leading to further escalation across the region. Trump's "ceasefire" is falling apart while Americans keep paying more and more at the pump. www.cnbc.com/2026/06/01/i...
Trump’s scheme to pay $1.8 billion of YOUR MONEY to violent criminals who assaulted police officers has failed thanks to a bipartisan, nationwide outcry.   This was just the latest corrupt effort to steal taxpayer dollars for his allies. Congress must not let him get away with it.
Happy Pride Month! This month, let us celebrate the strength, love, and joy of the LGBTQ+ community. The LGBTQ+ community is under attack, but I will always have your back. 🏳️‍🌈
The Republican CTC vs the Democrat CTC: Democrats want to get more money to working- and middle-class Americans. Republicans are catering to billionaires and giant corporations.
It's an absolute pleasure to share that Funmi & Monica were awarded the DeLauro & Cole scholarships at GLOBAL’s #AcceptAbilityGala. I'll continue advocating in support of #downsyndromeresearch & I am proud to have started funding for the NIH's INCLUDE Project with Tom Cole.
This February, I witnessed firsthand how Israeli settlers in the West Bank pursue violent attacks on innocent Palestinians every day. The Israeli government has allowed these attackers to roam free, with almost no accountability. We cannot afford to be a bystander any longer.
Happy Hamburger Day!🍔 Few foods are more iconic than the hamburger, and it all traces back to New Haven! Louis’ Lunch is widely credited with serving the first hamburger sandwich in 1895. A delicious piece of American history. If you don't know, now you do!
Thank you Comptroller Scanlon for joining me to highlight the impact the war in Iran is having on hardworking families as fuel costs rise. Families are facing a cost of living crisis and the war in Iran is making it worse.
