Chrissy Houlahan

Christina Marie Houlahan is an American politician, engineer, and former United States Air Force officer. A member of the Democratic Party, she is serving as the U.S. representative from Pennsylvania's 6th congressional district since 2019. The district includes almost all of Chester County, a suburban county west of Philadelphia, as well as the southern portion of Berks County including the city of Reading. She was first elected in 2018, defeating Republican Greg McCauley in the midterms.

On this Veterans Day, we pause to honor those who have honorably served our country. No matter your branch or era of service, this nation thanks you for your sacrifice. Happy Veterans Day!
Microtia (an underdeveloped outer ear) and Atresia (hearing loss due to the absence of an ear canal) are rare hearing disorders that affect one in every 6,000 births in the U.S. each year.
This shutdown must end. Republicans need to come to the table and work with Democrats to protect people's healthcare and stop playing games that make our military families and everyone else vulnerable.
To quote Public Utility Commission Charmain Steve Frank, "Together, we're showing that Pennsylvania can lead the nation by turning collaboration into action." Thank you for, once again, standing up for Pennsylvanians.
One out of every 10 households in our district participate in SNAP. They are our neighbors, our coworkers, our friends and relatives. They are hardworking Pennsylvanians who just want the best for their families. Don't believe the false narrative that tells you otherwise.
For her family, and for families like hers all over our district--enough is enough. Republicans must end this shutdown, fully fund SNAP and protect the health care of every American.
I'm here in Washington working with my Democratic colleagues to protect healthcare for every American, but Republicans refuse to meet with us. I decided to attend Speaker Johnson’s press conference today to speak to him.
