Last night, the Trump Administration was ordered to fund SNAP for the month. Their response:
This shutdown must end. Republicans need to come to the table and work with Democrats to protect people's healthcare and stop playing games that make our military families and everyone else vulnerable.
The Army Emergency Relief fund is stepping up where the Trump Administration will not, despite court directives. This shutdown is affecting real people. Real families that sacrifice everything in service to our country.
To quote Public Utility Commission Charmain Steve Frank, "Together, we're showing that Pennsylvania can lead the nation by turning collaboration into action."
Thank you for, once again, standing up for Pennsylvanians.
Governor Shapiro has made sure that Pennsylvanians relying on LIHEAP won't have their heat shut off while the federal government is shut down and funds are frozen.
