There’s something deeply wrong with a society that watches people get snatched by masked men in unmarked cars & looks the other way.
Rep @kamlager-dove.house.gov, describes an alarming system of relocating detainees, making it nearly impossible for their families to find them or get legal counsel.
Meet Kenzie, this year’s winner of the CA-37 Congressional Art Competition! 🎨

With ICE raids occurring across Los Angeles, it’s more important than ever to know your rights and look out for one another.
Save this post and these resources, share them with your community, and know your rights! We’re all in this together.
Today, we remember Stonewall—the birth of the Pride movement.
As Trump attacks our LGBTQI+ friends, family, and neighbors, honor the spirit of protest at Stonewall. We must continue to stand up for the LGBTQI+ community and for full equality.
Republicans want to gaslight the American people into believing that Los Angeles is some so-called "hellscape."
It's time to pull the cameras back from Trump's pathetic made-for-TV reality show that he's used to justify his authoritarian crackdowns and further ICE raids.
Why would the head of a Russian state media organization say that the day Trump gutted Voice of America was a "holiday for me and my colleagues at RT and Sputnik?”
Apparently, Kari Lake can't figure out why our adversaries are cheering on her actions.
Ambrocio “Enrique” Lozano has been a beloved and hardworking member of our Culver City community for over two decades.
Trump’s immigration policies are tearing apart our communities.
The Constitution is clear: everyone born in the U.S. is a U.S. citizen. This fight isn't over. I will continue to stand up for our immigrant communities and the Constitution. (🧵3/3)
But instead of addressing this blatantly unconstitutional action, SCOTUS' conservative supermajority chose to suck up to Trump by limiting nationwide injunctions—in this case, allowing the Trump Administration to keep pursuing its assault on birthright citizenship. (🧵2/3)
The Trump Administration knows full-well that its Executive Order nullifying birthright citizenship violates the 14th Amendment. (🧵1/3)
It wasn’t enough for SCOTUS to force pregnancies with the Dobbs decision—now they’re stripping away prenatal care from pregnant women, over 40% of whom rely on Medicaid.
As a board member of Planned Parenthood LA, I’m fighting like hell to protect access to the care our communities depend on.
Another U.S. citizen detained by ICE in Trump’s reckless, cruel raids. This isn’t “going after criminals”—it’s racial profiling.

Trump is using a 1798 wartime law called the Alien Enemies Act to deport people without due process.

A pregnant woman detained by ICE was denied care, shackled, & faced awful conditions at four different facilities.
Then she lost her baby.
I'm updating my bill, the Pregnant Women in Custody Act, to ensure pregnant women detained by ICE and CBP receive the care they deserve.

I just left court and pleaded not guilty—because I am not guilty. We will fight this. Trump’s administration won’t intimidate me or stop me from doing my job.
To all who stand up to this administration—do not back down. The facts are on our side. I look forward to the next time in court.
