My prayers are with all who are affected by the #PalisadesFire. Thank you to all the first responders who are doing their best to keep people safe.
CalFire, the California Department of Forestry & Fire Prevention, is offering the public an interactive, three-dimensional view of the Palisades Fire in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles.
Twitter got rid of content moderation and what happened? Revenues declined but stupid tweets by your cousin’s friend about stopping the polio vaccine increased. I expect any platform that gets rid of content moderation will also see more disinformation, and a decline in revenues.
Congratulations to all the new Members of the 119th Congress!! Honored to attend many of their swearing-in receptions and meet their friends and family.

Pleased that cities across coastal Los Angeles County have received over $417,000 in public safety grants from DOJ's Office of Justice Programs. Each grant will support community efforts to improve safety and promote equity in the justice system. Read more:
Honored to participate in the CHC Roundtable on veterans and military families. Thank you to CHC Chair Nanette Barragan and Vice Chair of Policy Darren Soto for putting on these terrific and informative roundtables.
Democrats gained seats in Congress. At the beginning of this term Democrats had 213 seats. Next term we will have 215 seats. Trump is at less than 50% of the popular vote. This was not a landslide election. The GOP does not have a mandate. Voters want both parties to work together.
Congratulations to Adam Gray for expanding his lead over the GOP incumbent. All five counties in #CA13 have now reported and Adam Gray leads by 187 votes. I look forward to serving with Congressman Adam Gray!
BREAKING: Adam Gray has just netted even more votes in what was expected to be the final ballot drop in California's 13th Congressional District, extending his lead to 187 votes. It looks to be over folks. Democrat Adam Gray will likely be your next Congressman-elect!

ICYMI: Joined Alex Witt on MSNBC this weekend to discuss our bill with @repdonbeyer.bsky.social which would require full FBI background checks for high-level White House officials. Watch the full interview here:
Good news for Democrat Adam Gray with another good vote update today in #CA13. Congratulations to Democrat Derek Tran for increasing his lead, again, in #CA45 to 480 votes over the GOP incumbent.
