The plane crash last night in DC is a horrific tragedy. Today, all of America mourns the lives lost and is thinking of their loved ones. My office is monitoring this developing story and working to learn what happened and how to ensure this never happens again.
As a graduate of a registered apprenticeship program, I know the value of skill-based education. Certificate programs give students the hands-on skills they need to get good-paying jobs. We need options that give everyone a chance at success.

I had a great time chatting with Marshall Spevak on Battleship New Jersey’s podcast. We discussed the battleship's history and our work to preserve it for the next generation. Check it out! ⚓ www.buzzsprout.com/2432463/epis...
Wishing a bright and prosperous Lunar New Year to all who celebrate. Have a happy and healthy Year of the Snake!

I stand with the Whole Foods workers in Philly fighting for better pay, health insurance, and more protections against at-will firing. Unions strengthen the middle class and help grow our economy.

Today, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we mark 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz and honor the 6 million Jewish lives lost. As Jewish families around the world face rising antisemitism, we must work to ensure that 'never again' is a promise kept.

Twelve years ago, the Department of Defense removed the combat exclusion policy for women. Since then, countless women have put their lives on the line to serve and protect our nation. I’m inspired by their bravery and excited to see the next generation of women warriors leading the way.
As a union electrician, I know what it means to fight for a living wage and fair treatment at work. I stand with @dcculinaryunion.bsky.social workers at Le Diplomate, Rasika, and others as they organize for dignity on the job and a fair day's wage for a hard day's work.
These pardons go against everything that our country stands for. 4/4
Police officers were seriously injured, and multiple died while answering the call to defend American democracy and our elected leaders. We are not a country that tolerates violence against elected leaders or assaults on law enforcement. 3/4
I watched as insurrectionists attacked the U.S. Capitol while chanting that they wanted to hang Vice President Pence and kill Speaker Pelosi. These individuals wanted to kill our elected leaders, no different from the assassination attempts on President Trump. 2/4
On his first day in office, President Trump pardoned 170 felons who violently attacked police officers on January 6th. I was there that day and saw the insurrection firsthand. 🧵1/4
Congrats to Melinda Kane on being sworn in today as Assemblywoman for New Jersey's 6th District! After losing her son, Jeremy, in Afghanistan & her husband, Bruce, to cancer, she felt the call to serve her community. Her strength and dedication are inspiring. www.inquirer.com/politics/new...
53 years ago, Roe v. Wade gave women the right to choose. Now, that right has been stripped away from 25M Americans who live in states with abortion bans, taking away life-saving care. Women are dying & will continue to die because of these reckless attacks on their healthcare.
This Gun Violence Survivor Week, I stand with survivors and remember those we've lost. In 2022, I voted for the Safer Communities Act, the most historic gun safety law passed in nearly 30 years. But we must do more—common-sense reforms are long overdue. Enough is enough.
The legal interpretation of the Constitution is clear – those born in the United States have the right to citizenship under the 14th Amendment. President Trump's executive order is unlawful and will be challenged in the courts.
