@repcasar.bsky.social is an organizer, advocate, and activist leader who has never lost sight of the people.
His bold leadership and commitment to progress will be instrumental in the next Congress, and I congratulate him on becoming our new chair of @usprogressives.bsky.social.
President Biden must use his clemency power to address mass incarceration and reunite families.
This is a matter of doing the right thing, and it's a matter of legacy. www.politico.com/news/2024/12...
AI has the potential to transform our financial system for the better, but it can also worsen existing inequalities.
We must get this right.
We need to harness the power of AI to create more opportunities while protecting consumers, promoting equity, & expanding financial inclusion for all.
Thanks to President Biden and Vice President Harris, Medicare is lowering Rx drug costs for seniors across the #MA7.
The new $2,000/yr cap on out-of-pocket Rx drug costs will help seniors breathe easier.

TN's discriminatory law is just the latest in Republicans' cruel attacks on our trans & LGBTQ+ siblings.
SCOTUS must uphold the Constitution’s promise of equal protection & strike the law down.
Decisions about healthcare belong ONLY to patients & their doctors.

The Massachusetts 7th has always been a global hub for cutting edge research & that is playing out daily.
Proud of this investment in our public health & our collective wellness—tackling cancer, supporting pregnant women, & developing life-saving medications.

There are folks behind the wall who pose no threat to society & whose lives are deteriorating due to our unjust criminal legal system.
President Biden must use his clemency power to address mass incarceration & change the lives of families across the nation.

I'm thinking of all the people who pose no threat to society & whose lives are deteriorating due to our mass incarceration crisis & unjust criminal legal system.
For the families harmed by mass incarceration, President Biden must act.
Here's my statement on his pardon this week.
FEMA workers represent the best of public service & deserve our support.
But Republican attempts to question their integrity is an attack on FEMA's mission.
We can't turn this agency into a political game & we must give them the respect & resources they need to do their work.

Our smallest neighborhood businesses are the backbones of our communities.
They help us build community & boost our local economies.
This #SmallBusinessSaturday, I'm celebrating local small businesses in the #MA7 like Brother's Kafé Kreyol in Everett.
You absolutely can 🦃
Wishing everyone in the #MA7 a Happy Thanksgiving full of gratitude, great food, and time spent with loved ones.
I'm grateful for the honor of serving as your Congresswoman.
Mass incarceration is a crisis and clemency is part of the solution.
In the final months of his presidency, President Biden must use his clemency authority to set us on a pathway towards decarceration & healing.
We’re calling on him to act.

The attack on our books and right to learn has been relentless.
Grateful for spaces like justBook-ish in Dorchester that stand in the gap, center a community-focused mission, & help us push back against the silencing of voices.
It was a joy to celebrate their grand opening.
Mass incarceration is one of our country's greatest failures—and it's deeply personal to me.
President Biden must use his clemency authority to confront mass incarceration, reunite families, & advance healing.
We must do everything in our power to save lives while we still can.

It's always a joy to join Mrs. Shillingford and the team at Shirley's Pantry for their annual Thanksgiving food drive.
Grateful for all they do to address food insecurity and keep our communities fed this holiday season and year-round.
