President Trump and his Administration have finally found a way to use CHILDREN to punish blue states and individuals pushing back. We will not bend the knee to this frankly appalling misuse of power.
My bipartisan legislation has made it through committee with a 42-0 yes vote and is now on to the floor! The BARCODE Efficiency Act, which I am proud to co-lead with my colleague Congressman Rudy Yakym, will help modernize outdated IRS operations and speed up tax return processing for Americans.
Last night, despite the opposition of Republican leadership, Congress PASSED legislation that extend ACA tax credits for three years and ensure millions of Americans aren't priced out of health insurance. Now it's on to the Senate.
Vaccines save lives. This is a political, short-sighted decision that will make children sick. Doctors and medical experts should inform our vaccine policies -- not the ill-informed whims of a long-time conspiracy theorist. www.cnn.com/2026/01/05/h...
Nicolas Maduro is a bad guy who deserves to be brought to justice. But that doesn't mean President Trump has blanket authority to send the US military into a foreign land without authorization by Congress.
I had 45 seconds to give Republicans a piece of my mind today on their failure to save Americans from skyrocketing healthcare costs. No one should have to choose between health insurance and financial ruin - but that's the choice Republicans are shoving down more than 20 million Americans' throats.
I just left the House floor where I voted NO on Republicans' partisan attempt to make life harder and more expensive for working families. Healthcare costs are skyrocketing. Failing to address that is a dereliction of duty.
Forty-eight days ago, I voted ‘No’ on giving President Trump unconstrained power to continue raising the cost of living for and ripping healthcare away from millions of hard-working Americans and their families. My position has not changed.
Americans are already suffering from an affordability crisis, and millions are on the cusp of more pain with their health insurance costs set to spike in 2026. Today I introduced the Keep Healthcare Affordable Act, a common sense, responsible solution to the healthcare affordability crisis.
Today we mark two years since one of the darkest days for the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Today we remember all who were lost on October 7. Today we hold our breaths, hoping that an end to the war and a better future for the Middle East is on the horizon.
As President Trump continues to send masked agents into our community, scaring our kids, neighbors, and friends, it's important to know your rights. Please also call my Lincolnshire office if you need assistance with an immigration case -- 847-383-4870.
